The East Burnham Common in the Burnham Beeches has a large number of dramatically shaped pollards. I like the shot above of the unfortunately dead tree as it shows off the effects of stand development so well.
Ilford FP4+ at EI160; stand developed: pre-soaked for 5 minutes followed by Rodinal developer in a 1+200 dilution with 1gr/l Borax; agitated for the 1st minute and then left to stand for 2 hours, yellow filter
