As you might have guessed, I shoot a lot of my black and white on film and recently I have developed a passion for ADOX film and stand development. The Easter weekend there was quite a lot of blue sky and some nice clouds and I decided to use a red filter. Now, as it turns out, ADOX CHS 25 ART is quite colour blind to red light. I had never paid much attention to the diagrams with the cut off values for the different wavelengths, but it turned out I better had ^_^;;
As it turned out, I had exposed the film mostly for orange colours but the built-in light-meter had assumed that all the light entering the lens was used and as a result the film was about one stop underexposed.
ADOX CHS 25 ART; stand developed: pre-soaked for 5 minutes followed by Rodinal developer in a 1+200 dilution with 1gr/l Borax; agitated for the 1st minute and then left to stand for 2 hours. Filter: RED 1 (25)
