Auvers-sur-Oise, graves of Vincent and Theo van Gogh. After his death in 1891, Theo was first buried in Soestbergen in the Dutch province of Utrecht, but was re-buried in Auvers-sur-Oise in 1914 to be laid to rest next to his older brother.
Vincent, of course, had spent May, June and July of 1890 painting in Auvers where, at the end of July, he went into a field and shot himself with a revolver.
