I do not know how to speak English then I use a translator and as you say it the sense(direction) of the translation is not always adequate;) however I hope that you will understand me.
I like the black and white clichés(pictures) and particularly this photo which inspires so many feelings, wait(expectation), solitude, hope.
The centring and the background light gives him(her) all its dimension

j'adore les clichés noir et blanc et particulièrement cette photo qui inspire tant de sentiments, attente, solitude, espérance.
Le cadrage et la lumière en arrière plan lui donne toute sa dimension
