The Penmon Point Lighthouse guards the treacherous waters between Penmon Point, or Trwyn Du, and Puffin Island, or Ynys Seiriol. I took some colour shots from almost the same location, compare them here. I prefer the black and white but mainly because I think the foreground helps the composition in the photo above and the little person fishing helps to give scale to it.
